FISH-Food Banks of Pierce County

The mission of FISH Food Banks is “to provide nutritious food for people in need with compassion, dignity and respect.” Its goal is to provide each client with enough nutritious food to make at least three meals a day for three days for each member of the family, via seven food banks and the innovative Mobile Food Bank’s nine distribution sites. No one in need is turned away. In 2014, FISH served 538,295 client visits, impacting the lives of more than 75,000 unique people in crisis. Nearly 40% of clients are children ages 0-18.
